Dinosaur Model
In 2001, a Burpee Museum of Natural History expedition to a remote region in the Badlands of southeastern Montana unearthed one of the most significant dinosaur finds in the history of paleontology: the most complete juvenile T-Rex ever found. "Jane" has inspired a one-hour documentary called Jane: Diary of a Dinosaur, produced jointly by Brave New Pictures, the Burpee Museum of Natural History in Rockford Illinois, and the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) at The Ohio State University. My role on the project was creating the CG model of Jane herself (with Ryan English) as well as serving as animation supervisor.
